The
College of Natural Resources oversees a large number of UC Berkeley
departments, focusing on the “biological, economic
and social challenges associated with protecting our natural
resources and the environment.”
CNR needed a site that would appeal to visitors as well as centralize
the diversity of departmental websites in one place.
Third Strand designed and built a flexible structure
with content management that fit with the college’s existing UNIX technology
and staff capabilities. The resulting site is useful for individuals
and departments within the college and provides an inviting “front
door” for visitors, donors, prospective students and alumni.
